Treatment Outcome of Alcoholic Physicians

SUMMARY. One year after discharge from treatment, three-fourths of the physicians studied had been abstinent for 1 year, and most reported improvement in five other areas-drug use, general physical health, self-image, professional performance and personal adjustment.
