Training Paraprofessionals in the Treatment of Alcoholism; Effects on Knowledge, Attitudes and Therapeutic Techniques

SUMMARY. Participation in a training program for paraprofessional alcoholism counselors increased the trainees’ knowledge of alcoholism, modified their attitudes toward alcoholism and affected their therapeutic techniques.
