SUMMARY. Enrichment of beer with thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide at 0.2-0.5 mg\/l is practical, but if thiamine itself is used, amounts required (5 mg\/l) to overcome malabsorption in alcoholics may exceed the flavor threshold of sensitive beer consumers.
