SUMMARY. The glucose tolerance curve in alcoholics in delirium tremens was similar to that seen in hepatogenic diabetes. The secretion of immunoreactive insulin and somatotropin after glucose was similar in patients with delirium tremens and alcoholic hallucinosis.
