SUMMARY. Hypoglycemia resulting from intragastric infusion of ethanol in miniature swine was counteracted by simultaneous infusion of fructose. The magnitude and time of peak plasma ethanol concentrations were functions of the quantity of ethanol or ethanol and fructose.
