Induction of Alcohol Selection in Laboratory Rats by Ultraviolet Light

SUMMARY. Rats exposed to ultraviolet light with maximum emission at 350 nm showed a stable intake of alcohol over water. A control group of animals exposed to white fluorescence light did not drink more alcohol than water.
