Effects of the Introduction of On-Premise Drinking on Alcohol-Related Accidents and Impaired Driving

SUMMARY. Accidents and charges of impaired driving in a small city in Ontario where on-premise consumption of alcoholic beverages was introduced were compared with those of a nearby city which continuously had on-premise consumption. There was no obvious change in the frequency of alcohol-involved traffic problems after the advent of on-premise consumption.
