Dietary Caffeine and Alcohol Consumption by Rats

SUMMARY. The alcohol consumption of malnourished rats increased slowly but substantially during a 4-week period in which caffeine was added to their marginally adequate diet. Consumption fell to precaffeine levels as soon as caffeine was withdrawn.
