Daily Alcohol Consumption Patterns in Boston; Some Findings and a Partial Test of the Tuesday Hypothesis

SUMMARY. The daily alcohol consumption patterns of a representative sample of 500 residents of the City of Boston were examined. The data indicate that the consumption patterns of heavy and moderate drinkers were cyclical, corresponding to the observed pattern of alcohol-related homicide and traffic fatalities.
