Alcoholism and Cancer. I. Effects of Long-Term Exposure to Alcohol on Spontaneous Mammary Adenocareinoma and Prolactin Levels in C3H/St Mice

SUMMARY. Serum prolactin levels were significantly lower in mice exposed to alcohol for 28 days than they were in controls, and the latency period for adeno-carcinoma development was significantly shorter in the alcohol-exposed animals.
