Alcohol Problems among Employed Men and Women in Metropolitan Detroit

SUMMARY. A survey of employed adults in metropolitan Detroit showed that more men than women had alcohol problems but this was largely attributable to the higher percentage of alcohol-dependent drinkers among men. There was little difference between the percentages of men and women who could be identified as nondependent problem drinkers.
